A homeowner portal with Stripe dues payments and autopay, migrated off a legacy AWS Amplify/DynamoDB app onto a maintainable WordPress platform.
The challenge
The association ran dues on a custom serverless app that was hard for the board to manage. They needed homeowner self-service, saved cards and autopay, board-friendly admin tools, and every house, account and payment record carried over intact.
What I built
- ▹Custom WordPress plugin for properties, dues and payment history
- ▹Stripe saved cards with per-homeowner autopay opt-in and admin controls
- ▹Self-service "claim your house" flow with board notifications
- ▹Batched migration of houses, residents and Stripe customers from DynamoDB
- ▹Audit logging, owner-of-record tools and an automated test suite
